I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University (GWU) and completed a post-doctoral residency at the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Service Board, where I received advanced training in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and case management. During this time, I also provided forensic psychological assessment and consultation for the Child Abuse and Neglect team and the Juvenile Forensic Evaluation Program (JFEP).

After completing my residency, I held part-time positions at JFEP and GWU and started a private practice. From 2008-2013, I worked as a Clinical Psychologist for JFEP, where I provided forensic assessments, consultation and expert testimony to the courts. From 2009-2011, I worked as a Clinical Supervisor for GWU's Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD), providing psychotherapy supervision to masters and doctoral students. I also served as a lecturer and taught classes on beginning psychotherapy skills and advanced supervision theory and technique. I completed psychoanalytic training at The Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis (WBCP) in 2021.

In addition to my private practice, I am on the faculty at the WBCP, currently teaching a class on relational theory. I also lead a seminar in psychodynamic psychotherapy for third-year psychiatry residents at Howard University.
